Office visits and standard tests are insured services under BC's MSP coverage.

 

Uninsured services - that you are responsible to pay for yourself - are optional. You will be advised at the time of testing. Sometimes the testing may be performed at a preliminary visit, and interpreted into the medical record when needed.

Fees are payable at the time they are assessed.

 

Examples of Uninsured Services:

• Letters and notes

• Copies of medical records

• Specialized eye testing such as Corneal Topography or Refractive Evaluation

• Vector analysis of Astigmatism

• Dry Eye Clinic services and procedures
